We have begun the work of improving math education for children in Jamaica. Below are some of the projects that we are working on.

Master Teacher Series: Kippy Chin

Kippy Chin is a legendary math teacher, who taught at Campion College for several decades. Mr. Chin came out of retirement to continue his service as an educator. In 2016, we approached Mr. Chin to see if we could record him. He responded with a resounding “Yeah Man”.

Soon everyone will be able to see the class of this great teacher.

Professional development

Partnering with Dr. Dionne Cross Francis, Director of the Center for P-16 Research and Collaboration at Indiana University, The Reggae Math Foundation will be conducting professional development workshops for teaching research-based methods to improve student understanding of math. We are working on bringing additional professional development programs with proven track records to teachers and educators in Jamaica.
